NASS 2025 Is Bringing the Fun Back

Scott Kreiner, MD

Thank you to everyone who has given feedback on recent NASS Annual Meetings. I’m pleased to say we took those opinions to heart and have acted on them accordingly.
This year’s Annual Meeting in Denver will be fully refreshed, with an emphasis on making memories with your colleagues and bringing the fun back to your meeting experience. Kudos to the Annual Meeting Planning Committee for supporting this vision and adding some pop to the meeting. Of course, the core of the meeting remains our scientific content – in fact we received a record number of abstracts for this year’s meeting.
We also understand the value of offering activities to help you connect outside of the standard meeting space. Throughout each day in Denver, there will be a wide range of options to unwind with your friends and colleagues. Among the exciting meeting experiences are:
- A reimagined exhibit hall with engagement activities including a pickle ball court, mobile golf simulator, oxygen bar and vitamin patch station, puppy playtime, and a live birds of prey demonstration
- Local evening tours – Denver Brewery Buzz on Friday night and Ghosts of Capitol Hill on Saturday night
- The Presidential Soiree, celebrating NASS’ 40th anniversary with a 1980s theme, live band, strolling impersonator and mentalist. The event offers a vibrant ambiance that blends celebration with connection. Space is limited for this ticketed event, so early registration is recommended.
- Don't miss Presidential Guest Speaker, Dr. Bob Rotella, an internationally renowned sports psychologist who is speaking from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday! Dr. Rotella has worked with an incredible list of PGA pros and we're thrilled to have him speak to NASS attendees.
- A more immersive kickoff party that reimagines the traditional Social Hour with live music and curated food and beverage options designed to elevate the experience.
- Exclusive networking opportunities via sponsored dinners. Plans are underway for one or two corporate-sponsored dinners, to be held at upscale local restaurants and designed to foster high-level networking in a more intimate setting.
- Lastly, you can order a fun 80s-style rock concert T-shirts commemorating NASS’ 40 years. A limited number of shirts are being printed; order here.

We also understand the pressure caused by stepping away from practice. With that in mind, this year’s meeting is streamlined into a Friday-Sunday timeframe format, November 14-16, to minimize time out of office.
I hope you’ll join us in Denver this fall and participate in any of the events that interest you. You’ll have the chance to reconnect with colleagues and enjoy all that NASS has to offer, both educationally and socially.
See you there!
