Below are the results from the January/February Ethics poll.
Medicare reimbursements may continue to decrease. At what point would you refuse to see patients where the payments are low? (those who are salaried or on RVU models and for whom reimbursements are not a direct problem should consider the question as if they were dependent directly on the reimbursements)
I will see any patient who wants to see me regardless of reimbursements. Physicians have an unlimited obligation to take of those who seek their care.

As long as I am not losing money on seeing the patients and have capacity, I will see them even with poor reimbursements. Physicians have an obligation to take care of patients but not to their significant detriment.

I will only see patients with good paying commercial insurance. Physicians do not have an obligation to take care of those without advantageous insurance.
